    Description

Vintage American Toy Toodles Doll, Flirty/Follow Me Eyes. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
She has some issues, but she’s still stunning.
    Face:
Her hair is a medium brown in a short style, and is corse and a little crisp - not necessarily that it’s dry, but think and plastic-y. Her hair still retains a little bit of her curl, but no much.
Her face is clean, but has a couple marks: there is a light brown mark next to her left eye, a black pen-tip sized dot in the crease of the right side of her nose, and two very faded brown marks on her right cheek toward the jawline. There is no missing paint on her eyelashes, eyebrows, lips, or teeth, but there are 2 scratches in the blush of her left cheek, and she is missing some of the skin-tone paint on her eyelids. She has no missing fiber eyelashes, no rust, but her eyes have yellowed a little with age, making her blue eyes appear more green.
She has a bad split along one row of hair at the top of her head where the hairs have gathered to one side. It can be repaired, but it’s VERY difficult to do.
Her eyes work perfectly, and are known as “flirty” or “follow-me” eyes.
    Torso:
Her chest and belly has some shallow scratches, but her back is nearly perfect.
She has no cracks in her shoulder sockets, hip sockets, neckline, or anywhere else. There is no separation of plastic anywhere on her body.
There are scratches/wear on her bum.
    Arms:
Her arm color has significantly aged to a different color than the rest of her, giving her an arm/body mismatch, as the plastic used on the arms was slightly different than her body and leg molds.
There are only minimal scuffs on both arms, and no stains.
There is a hard-to-see pink line (the color of a pink highlighter) on her left forearm and dot of it on her thumb.
Some finger tips have a couple scrapes/scuffs.
    Legs:
Her thighs have some light scrapes on the back.
    Her calves have scratches.
    Her heels have scratches.
The front of her thighs have very few scratches.
Her knees are free of scratches.
Her shins have a couple shallow scratches.
Her feet edges and tips of toes have scratches.
Her outfit is composed of multiple items:
A vintage doll slip, a vintage doll dress, a 4 piece hand-made bloomers, skirt, top, and bonnet specifically made for this Toodles.
Slip: vintage aged white for a doll (I am not sure if this is hers or not, but I could not for the life of me take it off when cleaning her without risking damage to her or the slip). It has lace accents, and the seam has come undone 1” under one arm.
Dress: vintage aged white for a doll (I do not know if this is her dress, but as I can’t find any photos of it on her online, I cannot not guarantee- though the dresses on the smaller Toodles dolls look a LOT like this one). It’s a sheer fabric with lace accents, a white polka-dot pattern, button closure at the back and a sash.
Hand-made 4 piece: sewn in the 80s to fit her, it is slightly unfinished. It all is composed of a sheer white fabric with mint green embroidered polka-dots. There are bloomers, a skirt (this is the unfinished piece - it is safety-pinned closed), a top that meets the skirt piece to make it appear it’s a dress which is button closed, and a bonnet that ties under the chin. All pieces are adorned with mint green ribbon and/or small embroidered flower appliqués.
Minty-green cotton socks with white lace trim and an embroidered accents and white leather children’s shoes are on her feet (the leather is still stiff, but where the buckles are it is nice and soft, so easy to buckle).
Her parts still move - her head tilts side to side, and forward and backward. Her arms move smoothly. Her legs are slightly stiff to move at first (it’s almost like they have to click past a certain point), but then they move smoothly past that point to place her in any position you like. I don’t know if she’s a “walker” or not (I don’t know how to test).
For her age, she is very clean, has scratches in the usual places, and is overall still very beautiful.
    THINGS TO NOTATE
***She will be packed in a standing position with special instructions to keep her upright and have no weight put on her. The box will be LARGE and heavy - she weighs 15lbs when packed securely inside the box she will be shipped in.
•••I plan on putting a flat rate cost for shipping (), but I may be able to get that cost LOWER if you message me privately with your exact address - I am able to use my fiancé’s business account to ship through, which provides a lower cost on large items than purchasing as a regular customer. I am able to use both USPS and FedEx.
•••Shipping can range from -160 for an item this size via FedEx and USPS without the business account. Using the business account it typically ranges -75 via FedEx. Thus the reason I’m setting a flat price.
•••If you would like to see what your specific delivery will cost, please message me. Communication is key.
***I have set my handling time as 10 days so that we can communicate about best shipping services, where/how you want it delivered, and give time for me to contact my fiancé’s company and have them pay and print the postage for me.
I try to mention all flaws, but there may be something I might have missed.
    I have a pet friendly home :)
