USED Mitutoyo 515-102 Height Master in Original Wooden Box (JT)

Description

This is a USED Mitutoyo 0-12" Height Master and it is in it's original box, with the original instruction manual.  The overall height of the unit is 16.8" and the base diameter is 5.8", with a head diameter of 4.6".  This is not a small unit, it weighs almost 50 pounds!  The accuracy stated in the manual is .00005" (50 millionths) with a parallelism of .00005" over the entire land.  Micrometer head reads in .0001" and vernier scale is .00001".  This unit simplifies measurement and transfer of measurements to such a degree that operations which formerly took long periods with conventional gage blocks or other methods, are now reduced to seconds.  Reading the unit is pretty simple.  Each inch on the housing scale is divided into 40 divisions.  Each of these divisions (.025") is subdivided into 250 divisions on the micrometer head's scale.  Thus each division on the head scale represents .0001".  The vernier scale redivides each .0001" ten times to .00001".  Again, we have the original manual to help you step thru its operations!  Sales Tax will be charged for shipments within OHIO unless Buyer has established account with T&S Tool & Supply or has a tax exempt form on file with us.
